Whitney Matchette DNP, APRN, FNP-C

As a lifelong resident of Anderson County, I’m proud to care for the community that has always been home. I live in Andersonville with my husband, Shane, and our two sons, Canon and Wilder. When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll find me spending time with my family on our farm, gardening, baking, or being involved in our church community.

Healthcare has been my passion from the very beginning. I started my career as a nursing assistant while still in high school and have spent more than 20 years caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings. After earning my Associate Degree in Nursing from Roane State Community College in 2005, I continued my education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from King University, a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Carson-Newman University, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chamberlain University. I became board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2014.

My experience includes caring for patients as a registered nurse in oncology, orthopedics, and medical-surgical units, as well as more than a decade of practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care, urgent care, pain management, long-term and skilled care, and telemedicine. In addition to patient care, I’m passionate about nursing education and currently serve as adjunct faculty at South College, where I teach Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) students. Teaching has strengthened my commitment to lifelong learning, evidence-based practice, and mentoring the next generation of nurses.

I’m proud to serve the Anderson County community and surrounding areas with care that’s personalized, trustworthy, and convenient. My comprehensive approach is designed to help you feel your best, reach your goals, and take charge of your long-term health.
